Call for papers

Modelling and animating Virtual Humans (VH) is a long standing research global topics. The behaviour of VHs is now using machine learning techniques and all papers in this area are particularly welcome.

We invite original papers that advance the state-of-the-art in the following topics:

  • Modelling realistic deformable heads
  • Modelling animatable bodies
  • Emotions models
  • Facial expression models
  • AI for VH and social robots
  • Speech recognition and synthesis for VH and social robots
  • Awareness of VH and social robots including recognition of objects and global scenes
  • Human like natural grasping
  • Human like walking models
  • Face recognition and gesture recognition
  • Machine learning for VHs and robots
  • Imitating human behaviour from various models
  • Decision making methods for VH and social robots

All authors of accepted papers will be published by the ACM Digital Library within its International Conference Proceedings Series. For author instructions please refer to CGI’s “For Authors” section on short papers.
