Advancements in computer graphics facilitate experimental research in psychology and neuroscience by
providing controlled and ecological environments. This presentation introduces
recent work conducted at Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (CISA), University of
Geneva, including research using virtual humans and\/or virtual environments.
Ongoing applications include a virtual reality police training tool for evaluating force
response, a virtual reality-based intervention simulating climate change to study pro-
environmental behaviors, and VRelief, a virtual reality tool designed to mitigate
anxiety and pain in children during medical procedures. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Dr. Yvain Tisserand – Swiss Center for Affective Sciences – University of Geneva, Switzerland Bio: Yvain Tisserand is a senior researcher at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (CISA), University …<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-4476","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/4476","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=4476"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/4476\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5035,"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/4476\/revisions\/5035"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cgs-network.org\/cgi24\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4476"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
