Prof. Ying He, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

Title: 3D Reconstructions from Unoriented Points: Recent Advances and Emerging Trends

Biography: Ying He is an Associate Professor at the College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He also serves as the Director of the Centre for Augmented and Virtual Reality and the Programme Co-Director of the Master of Science in Game Design and Technology. His research focuses on geometric computation and analysis, with applications in computer graphics, computer vision, and computer-aided design. He has been an active contributor to the geometric modelling community, serving as General or Program Co-Chair for major conferences such as SMI 2022, SPM 2022 & 2023, GMP 2014 & 2021, and CVM 2020. He currently serves or has served on the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Computational Visual Media and Computer Graphics Forum.
