THE PRESENTATION

Title: Knowledge Companion – a creators tool to navigate information

Abstract: The challenges in rapidly learning interdisciplinary areas while developing research solutions prompted me to work on a tool to help me navigate information. My work in cartography and visual analytics inspired me to look into creating a tool, analogous to maps for navigating the physical world, in the context of knowledge. Working on this problem has taken me on a wild ride of extensive interdisciplinary study for more than a decade. I shall describe this journey in my talk.
